2) Key Information for 2025 AQA A level Maths Exam
When is the AQA A level maths exam?
Paper 1 is on Wednesday 4th June 2025, paper 2 is on Thursday 12th June 2025 and paper 3 is on Thursday 19th June 2025.

Yes, the formula booklet for AQA A level maths can be found here.
How many exams do you sit for AQA A level maths?
Three. Paper 1 assesses pure maths. Paper 2 is split into section A, which assesses pure maths, and section B, which assesses mechanics. Paper 3 is also split into two sections: section A assesses pure maths while section B assesses statistics. Each paper contributes a third to your final grade. Each paper is two hours long.
Is there coursework for the AQA maths A level?
No.

Yes. Most students that use a graphical calculator have the model fx-CG50.
