5) Key Information for 2023 Edexcel A level Maths Exam

When is the Edexcel A level maths exam?

Provisionally, paper 1 is on Tuesday 6th June, paper 2 is on Tuesday 13th June and paper 3 is on Tuesday 20th June.

Can you use a formula booklet?

Yes, the formula booklet for Edexcel A level maths can be found here.

How many exams do you sit for Edexcel A level maths?

Three. Paper 1 and paper 2 assess pure maths and paper 3 assesses applied maths. Each paper contributes a third to your final grade. Each paper is two hours long.

Is there coursework for A level Edexcel?

No.

​

Can you use a graphical calculator?

Yes. Most students that use a graphical calculator have the model fx-CG50.
