5) Key Information for 2025 Edexcel A level Maths Exam
When is the Edexcel A level maths exam?
Paper 1 is on Wednesday 4th June 2025, paper 2 is on Thursday 12th June 2025 and paper 3 is on Thursday 19th June 2025. All exams are in the afternoon.

Yes, the formula booklet for Edexcel A level maths can be found here.

How many exams do you sit for Edexcel A level maths?
Three. Paper 1 and paper 2 assess pure maths and paper 3 assesses applied maths. Each paper contributes a third to your final grade. Each paper is two hours long.

Is there coursework for A level Edexcel?
No.

Can you use a graphical calculator?
Yes. Most students that use a graphical calculator have the model fx-CG50.
